SPRING FREE Yard Waste Event

Prepare for FREE yard waste disposal this Spring! Bundle your organic waste in four-foot lengths or place in PAPER landscape bags or containers that can be dumped and left at curbside (marked YARDWASTE) such as marked extra cans, landscape containers, boxes, etc. Brookings/Harbor curbside, Monday, May 4th - Friday, May 8th, 2026 - on your garbage day; Gold Beach curbside, Wednesday, May 20th; and Port Orford curbside, Thursday, May 21st. Or, take it loose, bundled, or paper bagged to the Brookings Transfer Site, Monday thru Saturday, May 11th - 16th, 8am-5pm (Saturday 10am-5pm), Nesika Beach Transfer Site Tuesday through Saturday, May 12th - May 16th, from 10am-5pm, or Port Orford Transfer-Site Wednesday through Saturday, May 13th - May 16th, from 10am-4pm. Paper landscape bags can be purchased from your local stores where garden supplies are sold. Yard waste in PLASTIC BAGS WILL NOT be accepted.
